International projects and super cohesiveness among colleagues

International traineeship experience …

After completing traineeships in different branches I had the opportunity to familiarize myself with the consultancy business at Stern Stewart in 2012. Things got going right away with an international client, which is why I only spent a few days of my traineeship on German soil. Demanding, international projects, the high level of trust and responsibility shown to me as a trainee and, on top of that, a really great environment with young colleagues cemented my decision to launch my career at Stern Stewart.

Why consultancy?

In my first year alone at Stern Stewart I gathered experience which could not have been more diverse, starting with supporting a leading international marine specialist to consulting a market leader in healthcare right up to a ”high-flying” project at a service provider in the aerospace industry. The constant new challenges ensure that no two days are alike. And so at Stern Stewart I found what has always inspired me, namely, variety in a challenging environment. Together with colleagues from very different personal and professional backgrounds, problems are tackled from new and different angles. One of my team colleagues, for instance, had many years of experience in building a start-up before joining Stern Stewart. Naturally, this meant a whole new and valuable take on the project.

Before working for Stern Stewart I had the opportunity to work in Africa for a few months and to cultivate tremendous enthusiasm for this country, and at Stern Stewart I can share this enthusiasm. Together with some colleagues, I help young adults in Ghana start life independently through a project initiated by Stern Stewart.
